Brad founded Land Home Financial Services in 1988 on a deliberately narrow proposition: be a mortgage lender that treats borrowers like people, not file numbers. Thirty-eight years and three industry cycles later, the same constraint still shapes every quarter.
Brad has driven Land Home Financial Services’ remarkable growth, transforming it into a nationwide leader in mortgage lending. The original vision was rooted in a specific observation: the late-1980s mortgage industry was consolidating around bank-owned lenders optimizing for volume and call-center efficiency. Brad believed the relationship was getting the wrong end of that trade. So he built the company he wanted to borrow from.
Inspired by the growing need for manufactured home financing, his vision expanded to encompass diverse residential mortgage solutions across FHA, VA, conventional, jumbo, renovation, reverse mortgage, and increasingly affordable housing programs. Brad oversees strategic planning, providing valuable insights and adapting to industry changes — through the S&L crisis, the 2008 collapse, and the rate volatility of the 2020s, LHFS stayed independent, stayed in Concord, and stayed focused on the same operating philosophy.
Committed to community impact, Brad ensures Land Home Financial supports local initiatives through sponsorships and donations. Personally, he has dedicated 12 years to serving on the board of directors for community improvement efforts. That community orientation eventually became structural: LHFS now serves as master servicer for eight state Housing Finance Authorities, with affordable lending and down-payment-assistance programs administered at scale through that infrastructure.
Outside the office, Brad contributes his expertise to various committees and task forces. He also cherishes time in the mountains with his family, from navigating the slopes of Squaw Valley with his two children to enjoying outdoor adventures. Brad’s passion, whether in business or personal endeavors, reflects his dedication to fostering growth, connection, and excellence.
