Teji Singh.
Chief Servicing Officer
Thirty years across KPMG, FHLMC, and the FDIC. Now leading LHFS’s in-house servicing operation.

Three decades of servicing, credit, and investor relations.
Teji leads LHFS’s mortgage servicing operation — the function that handles the company’s ~90% loan retention portfolio and the master-servicing relationships with eight state Housing Finance Authorities. Her depth across servicing, credit risk, and investor relations is unusual for the industry.
TWith over 30 years in the mortgage industry, Teji Singh brings expertise in sales, servicing operations, credit risk, and investor relations. Her career spans seven years with KPMG Peat Marwick and roles at leading institutions, including FHLMC and the FDIC, where she delivered strategic financial solutions. That trajectory — consulting, then GSE, then federal regulator, then operating role — gives her perspective on mortgage servicing from angles most servicing leaders never see.
Teji holds an MBA with honors in Finance and Accounting from the University of California, Irvine, and is a Black Belt Six Sigma certified professional. Six Sigma isn’t a discipline mortgage servicing typically borrows from, but the underlying tools — rigorous root-cause analysis, defect rate measurement, process variation reduction — map remarkably well to the kinds of operational challenges servicing leaders face every day.
She is known for her ability to lead key projects that prioritize client needs, streamline processes, and drive impactful results. At LHFS specifically, that capability shows up in two structural choices the company has made: retaining ~90% of originated loans rather than selling servicing rights, and servicing those loans in-house rather than outsourcing. Both choices increase operational complexity in exchange for keeping the borrower relationship intact through the life of the loan. Teji’s operation makes those choices economically and operationally viable.
A collaborative and innovative leader, Teji is committed to fostering excellence and delivering value in every endeavor. Her extensive experience and strategic approach have earned her a reputation as a trusted expert in the industry.
